Champion is usually a sweet, talkative guy who loves people and enjoys attention a lot. Unfortunately, an accident at another shelter required the amputation of part of his tail, and right now he suffers from phantom tail pain. At the Sherwood shelter he's currently on medication to alleviate that and it's been helping considerably.
When his phantom tail isn't bothering him, Champion likes to totally explore his surroundings, but will check in often enough to let you know he hasn't forgotten about you and show you by rubbing against your legs. He likes wand toys and, when you hold him, he'll give you gentle head butts.
This boy could really use some lovin' and TLC. Can you give him that?
